Through our Outreach Program we are available to come to your church, school, or organization to talk to your group about Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Inc.
We can also schedule a time for your group to come visit and take a tour of our facilities. These visits are scheduled in the afternoons.

Last year hundreds of volunteers donated nearly 9,000 hours of their time at Loudoun Interfaith Relief. They came from churches, civic groups, and corporations—many were individuals who simply felt a strong calling to help in any way they could. Hundreds of other county residents, groups, and organizations donated money, food, or life skills expertise (and in many cases, all three!) to help Loudoun Interfaith Relief meet the needs of Loudoun County’s less fortunate.
We are a friendly, fast-paced, and dynamic group. The jobs we perform can be rather physical and very busy. The reward, however, is immensely gratifying and worthwhile!
Types of Volunteer Positions
- Packing orders for our clients in the Distribution Center
- Sorting food and stocking shelves
- Driving to area stores to pick up food
- Assisting with Special Events
Hours to Volunteer
Monday through Saturday 9:45 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Tuesday and Thursday 5:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
During the week, there are some opportunities to volunteer in the late afternoon or otherwise.
For most of our volunteer positions, we require a regular commitment of a weekly or twice monthly schedule.
Some Guidelines
If you are interested in volunteering, we ask that you complete our Volunteer Applicationand submit by e-mail, fax or mail. Unpon review of your application and if we have a shift available, we will call you to schedule an interview. All volunteers must attend a 2 hour training session before volunteering. You must be 16 or older to volunteer at Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Inc.
You can volunteer to pack orders with your parent or guardian, if you are between the ages of 13 and 15. We also offer a few volunteer positions, without your parent or guardian, if you are between the ages of 13 and 15.
We are very proud of the exceptional service we provide to the community, and we want our volunteer staff to have every opportunity available to offer this same standard of committed service.

Volunteer Application
