How to Become a Client

To become a client at Interfaith Relief, all we need is your Loudoun County address and picture ID. If you can provide proof that you live in Loudoun County and have picture ID, then you are eligible to receive our services. If you are new to the county, we can accept a bill, with your address, for example and a picture ID. You will also need to complete an application. We ask no other questions.

How We Can Help

Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Inc. is a food pantry. We provide our clients with an emergency supply of groceries. We provide a well-balanced, nutritious supply of food to prepare three meals a day (breakfast, lunch and dinner) for three days for any size family.

Every time you come to Loudoun Interfaith Relief you will complete a Wish List. The Wish List will tell us about any dietary needs, the size of your family and any nonfood items you might want. We cannot always promise that we will have all those items, but we are happy to share with you what we have:

Extended Care

Food can be obtained on a weekly basis for the family in more desperate situations through Extended Care. The loss of the family income due to illness or job cuts can make a family eligible for participation. Our staff selects participants and works closely with families to help prioritize, budget, and make the most of the family income. A household can be enrolled for a 12-week period of time.  Depending on the degree of need one is facing, we can offer food for seven days at a time through Crisis Care or we can offer food for three days at a time through Critical Care. Continuous Care provides a three-day supply of food at a time and families are usually enrolled in this program for life. This program was designed for the terminally ill, mentally ill, or for senior citizens.

Life Skills

Life Skills classes are available to all our clients. Classes and tools are offered to help promote self-sufficiency. Classes are conducted every six weeks. Speakers address topics such as promoting self-esteem, rebuilding your credit, job seeking skills, cooking for better health, parenting, basic car repair as well as special classes such as Christmas in Jar.
