Volunteer

Without the dedication of over 200 people who gave more than 8,500 hours of their time last year, Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Inc. simply could not fulfill its mission. We are a hard working, friendly, and dynamic group. The jobs our volunteers perform on site can be physically demanding and very busy. The reward however is immensely and immediately gratifying and extremely worthwhile!

A Special Note About Youth Volunteers

The minimum age for any volunteer is 13, and teens between the ages of 13 and 17 must volunteer under the supervision of their parent or guardian. Please submit both parent and teen applications together. Young people can also help by collecting food. Please see our Food Drives page for more information.

Group & Holiday Volunteers

We are a food pantry that provides service year round so our volunteer needs are ongoing. We usually cannot accommodate either small or large groups for one day/one time community service projects, but always appreciate and would suggest that you consider holding a food drive for us – we always have a need for food! Please see our food drive page for more information.

Food Drives

Food drives are especially helpful to Loudoun Interfaith Relief, Inc. Please make sure to contact us at (703) 777-5911 before beginning your food drive. This allows us to help you plan, offer suggestions, and coordinate the delivery of the food. We do provide tax receipts.
